Moderat muslimsk nation, implimenterer sharia.

With the official name of the country The Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace (Brunei Darussalam), the leader of the oil-soaked country is on the cusp of incorporating the harshest aspects of Islamic Sharia Law into the civil and criminal legal code, as reported by the right-of-center Cybercast News Service on March 10, 2014.

Long regarded as the model of a "moderate" Muslim nation, in just a few short weeks the nation's laws will authorize adulterers (by design) to be slowly stoned to death; thieves will have the offending appendage lopped off; public whipping awaits those found to be consuming alcohol, and those deigned as being in "too close proximity to an unrelated Muslim of the opposite sex faces the same penalty as a Muslim would – up to one year’s imprisonment, a $4,000 fine, or both."

With two thirds of the populace Muslim, the remaining (almost an even split between Catholics and Buddhists) citizens will find themselves subject to Islamic law, even for those specific infractions that pertain solely to the followers of Mohammed.

As the absolute ruler of the oil rich postage stamp of a country, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah is regarded by many as a modern legend when it comes to his penchant for overt opulence.
The Sultan maintains a personal collection of at least 2,500 cars, to including hundreds of Rolls Royce luxury automobiles and Ferrari sports cars.

He also reportedly lives in a palace which boasts of 1,800 rooms and 290 bathrooms.
Despite such riches for both Brunei and its bordered neighbor Indonesia, the Obama Administration recently sent $6 billion dollars to be split between the two to further develop "green energy."
